Overview / background / objectives
Our airports experience spans almost 25 years with Christchurch International Airport Limited (CIAL). In this time we have worked almost continuously with CIAL to deliver a huge variety of airside and landside projects including infrastructure, car park buildings, hotels and freight forwarding facilities. In 1995 we project managed the redevelopment of its International Terminal, and in 2012 saw the completion of its Integrated Terminal Project.
While each project is inherently different, common across all airport developments is the need for continued functionality throughout project stages. This often necessitates detailed decanting and relocation planning as well as complex health, safety and security provisions to ensure the continued safe operation of the airport at an agreed level of service.
