Richard holds a wealth of knowledge and experience in managing complex, high-value projects across multiple sectors in the United Kingdom and New Zealand. He has a deep understanding of the full project lifecycle, leading in various roles across diverse construction projects and procurement models.

Over a career spanning 20 years, Richard has developed a specialisation in delivering education infrastructure through the funding, planning, design and construction phases. This includes a previous project delivery role within Government at the Ministry of Education. As the Education Sector Lead, Richard will utilise his unique skill set to shape the future of high-quality learning environments in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Richard’s approach to leadership in project management centres on understanding a project from all angles. His collaborative management style ensures a “project first” mindset which enables the team to prioritise efficiency, mitigate risk and deliver value.
