David brings a diverse background to his role. From his initial career as a Royal Naval Officer specialising in nuclear propulsion to several years as a primary school teacher, his wide ranging experiences have developed and refined both his technical and interpersonal skills.
Strongly community oriented, David has the ability to talk with anybody at any level. His approach is empathetic and respectful, whilst remaining highly process driven. Having been instrumental in delivering major infrastructure projects, large scale earthquake remediation and an array of port initiatives, David is highly knowledgeable in technical necessities and adept at bringing people along on the journey.
David's grounded expertise and personal warmth combine to foster a high degree of confidence in others, enabling him to lead even the most complex and challenging projects to successful completion.
